EDEA, Inc. is:
an idea commodity market, a creative exchange forum, and a hosting service for innovators and businesses. EDEA® is a venue between creators and investors. However, we are not a brokerage and do not act as an agent in the buying and selling businesses or intellectual property. Rather, EDEA® provides posting services similar to classified advertising. It also furnishes the ambiance and atmosphere that encourages the communication and cooperation between the parties, much like a fine restaurant.

BACKGROUND:
In 1997 Diana Etheridge decided to write down the many ideas which she had recorded on tape and on little pieces of paper. However, she needed a venue to develop and market her ideas. She realized first hand that taking ideas from concept to reality can be a very complicated and confusing process. People are sometimes fearful that their ideas will be rejected or laughed at. And, even if a creator knows the idea is good, he may not know how to protect and market it.

Diana became convinced that the internet was an inexpensive way for individuals to have the same opportunities for marketing their products and services as large multi-national companies have. She wanted to make a user-friendly web site to help people like herself protect and market their ideas.
